The painstaking composition of wheat malt and caramelised special malts endows Maisel's Weisse Dunkel with its reddish black mahogany colour and its rich flavour. The bouquet is dominated by the full malty character in harmony with a typical slightly fruity wheat-beer intonation, before culminating in a delicate bitter, full-bodied flavour of the most varied malt fragrances at first taste. These provide the subsequent agreeable taste experience and combine with fruit and clove flavours to provide the full- bodied, hearty wheat-beer experience so typical and unique for Maisel's Weisse. A coupler is a fitting that attaches to the top of the keg, so that you can pump gas in and pump beer out! Different breweries use different kegs; different kegs use different couplers.
